We are looking for a compassionate, organised and proactive Communities Coordinator to join us.
In this rewarding, resident focused role, you’ll be the first point of contact for households affected by regeneration, redevelopment, new build schemes, legacy defects or major remedial works. You’ll support residents through periods of uncertainty or disruption, ensuring they feel informed, listened to and treated with dignity at every stage.
Join our Communities Team at L&Q:
- We are looking for an engaging, personable, and resilient new Communities Coordinator to join our busy site-based team on projects in London.
- The role will work with our Communities team on site to manage communications with residents to resolve complex and multifaceted issueson projects.
- The role sits in our Property and Investment division and works with the wider Communities team that support remedial and regeneration projects in London.

Your impact in the role:
- Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering high quality resident liaison, community engagement and rehousing support
- Lead on communication so that residents are informed throughout the project
- Support re-housing planning and publicity to help residents navigate practical steps such as viewings, moves and leases
- Build strong relationships with residents, stakeholders, local authorities and L&Q teams to ensure everyone stays informed and involved and residents receive an excellent service
- Chair challenging meetings, support vulnerable residents and communicate legal or statutory information in a clear and accessible way
- With previous relevant experience within the housing or construction sector, you will use your skills to liaise and support residents, acting as the link between them and the project and site teams carrying out remedial works, ensuring that residents are made aware of scope of works and timescales.
- Occasional work outside of normal working hours will be required for events, evening meetings and early works on site.
- There will also be regular travel to our head office in Stratford for team meetings and training.
What you'll bring:
- High quality customer service and interaction skills.
- Relevant resident liaison, housing, lettings, communityor customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to deal with challenging conversations and efficiently manage complaints at all levels
- Ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders
- Empathetic, diplomatic and patient, especially when supporting residents through difficult situations
