We are recruiting a Community Housing Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Caerphilly Homes' Community Housing Team!

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, frontline housing management services to a range of communities across the borough of Caerphilly. You will provide a proactive, customer‑focused operational housing and estate management service to Caerphilly Homes contract holders and local residents, ensuring excellent standards and high levels of satisfaction.

Working collaboratively with colleagues and partners, you will contribute to achieving the aims of Caerphilly Homes, support the development of associated policies and procedures, and the sustainment of mixed‑tenure communities. If you are passionate about delivering customer service excellence and want to make a difference to our community, then then this is the role for you!

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • A Level 4 Housing qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example, HNC in Housing.
  • Proven working knowledge of Landlord/Tenant issues.
  • Proven experience of frontline working in social housing management or closely related field.
  • Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit customers and communities and attend meetings.
