
Community Parks Officer

About the role
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys a mix of outdoor and office‑based work, working with people, and making a visible difference to local places. You’ll be part of a supportive team within the Greenspace Service and will work closely with colleagues, partners and communities across the district.
About you
You’ll bring experience from a parks, open spaces, grounds maintenance or other environment related background, along with a practical, organised approach to your work. You’ll be comfortable working independently, but equally confident collaborating with others and engaging positively with the public.
You’ll also have:
- A strong commitment to high‑quality public spaces
- Good communication and organisational skills
- An understanding of working safely in public environments
- A flexible and solution‑focused approach
