We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Data Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll act as the central point of coordination for compliance documentation relating to buildings managed by External Managing Agents (EMAs). You’ll ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met by monitoring certification, validating data, and maintaining accurate records across our systems. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll help safeguard operational standards and support a safe, compliant environment for residents and colleagues.

What you’ll do

As a Compliance Data Officer, you’ll manage the timely collection and validation of compliance documentation from EMAs, ensuring all records are uploaded and stored correctly. You’ll monitor overdue certifications, escalate issues where necessary, and maintain accurate data across systems to support audit readiness. You’ll liaise with internal teams to resolve compliance risks, assist with onboarding new buildings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll also prepare reports to track performance against KPIs and ensure compliance actions are prioritised effectively.

What you’ll need

  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with experience in data and performance monitoring.
  • Experience in data management and compliance monitoring within property or housing environments.
  • Knowledge of life safety systems.
  • Housing experience (desirable).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills, and confidence working with digital systems.
  • Understanding of statutory compliance requirements in residential property management.

You will be required to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per week for collaborative working and meetings.
