Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join either our Land Registration Academy or our Centre of Operational Excellence!

Working as part of a small, specialist team within the Land Registration Academy (LRA) or the Centre of Operational Excellence (CooE), these roles will primarily support the delivery, evaluation and improvement of technical training and development (LRA) or leadership and line management development (CoOE) activities across Service Delivery. The Content Manager will create, develop and manage digital information channels, create engaging content for events and activities, and work closely with stakeholders to keep plans on track. They will use digital tools to streamline workflows, gather and analyse feedback, and contribute to the goals of the Land Registration Academy or the Centre of Operational Excellence by sharing insights and driving continuous improvement.

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating, developing and managing information channels (including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites) within the Land Registration Academy/Centre of Operational Excellence to ensure content is accessible, organised, and up to date.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging digital collaboration tools and platforms and their potential for application to drive enhanced engagement, improved processes and streamlined communication.
  • Creating and delivering engaging, timely, and relevant content to promote events and activities that support technical capability development and the wider Service Delivery work plan.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders within and beyond the LRA/CoOE to develop apps and dashboards to monitor training and development activity, gather feedback, and use insights to inform future planning.
  • Providing technical support for new digital platforms, ensuring smooth implementation and user adoption.
  • Supporting feedback and evaluation activities, including designing surveys, compiling and presenting findings, and recommending next steps to improve technical training and capability development initiatives.
  • Leveraging digital platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform to automate workflows, collate and analyse data, and improve efficiency across processes.
  • Being an active member of the LRA support team/CooE contributing to the overall goals of the Land Registration Academy/CooE and sharing insights to enhance collaboration and continuous improvement.

Person specification

To be successful in this role, it is essential to have:

  • Experience in creating and managing engaging content across digital and traditional channels.
  • Experience of working within a change or project delivery environment, supporting implementation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, and coordinate activities across multiple teams or locations to meet deadlines
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
  • Advanced IT proficiency, including hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital workflow tools such as Microsoft Power Platform.

Please note you will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week in this post with 60% of your time being spent in your office base.

Due to the nature of the role occasional travel to other HM Land Registry offices will be required, including some overnight stays.
