Job Title: Contract, Compliance and Brokerage Service Manager
Salary: £63,393 – £73,167 per annum
Grade: H
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

About the Department

Adult Social Care meets the needs and outcomes of those requiring care and support. It's focus is on preventing, reducing and delaying the need for care and support, whilst ensuring that those who do require support receive the solution they require. The role of the Contracts, Compliance and Brokerage Team is to ensure that support accessed through external provision is of high quality and value, sustainable, and fit for purpose.

About the Role

As Contracts, Compliance and Brokerage Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the Contract Compliance Team to facilitate the successful delivery of outcomes for people using local services.
  • Lead the Brokerage Team to ensure placements are appropriate and fees are negotiated robustly.
  • Lead the Placements Team to ensure services are appropriately commissioned to comply with auditors’ requirements.

This role offers the chance to make a real difference by working in partnership with the external market and those who have care and support requirements to ensure that individuals can achieve the outcomes that matter most to them.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • the ability to consider new and innovative ways of working that improve and enhance how the provider market can proactively develop approaches to key challenges - including an active role in preventing, reducing and delaying the need for care and support
  • exceptional experience and understanding of the contracts, compliance and brokerage function in adult social care and can lead the team in meeting statutory requirements
  • the ability to lead and develop a partnership relationship with providers and key stakeholders that enables trust and market sustainability

DBS Check: Enhanced level is required for this post
