Creative Arts Project Worker
Our Vacancy
As a Creative Arts ProjectWorker, you will support the running of an innovative creative sewing and design programme for young women and assist with their training and development.
What you’ll do
You’ll use your skills in sewing, knitting, designing, styling and textiles to create and deliver engaging sessions and use your excellent communication skills to establish positive relationships with young people and motivate them to participate in events and activities. You’ll bring a positive and enthusiastic approach all while being able to adapt to suit different learning needs.You'll be working four hours per week, every Saturday.
What you’ll need
- Have demonstrable experience of working with children and/or young people
- Have sewing and design skills
- An understanding of working with a diverse group of people
- Have experience of organising and /or coordinating projects, and delivering engaging sessions

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
This role will require an Enhanced DBS check.
