UCG attracts students from across London and beyond. Our students come from a diverse range of backgrounds. In the academic year 2022-23, we enrolled more than 3,500 full-time 16-18 students, 8,000 adult learners and over 450 apprentices across our Group. UCG currently enrols over 250 Higher Education students each year across four campuses onto a range of programmes including STEM subjects, Business, Music and Professional Qualifications.
We have around 1,000 dedicated, skilled and enthusiastic staff who always put the needs of our students first and we are now looking for a Curriculum Manager for Music & Performing Arts to join our cohort of dedicated staff.

About You
The Faculty of Creative Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Manager for Music & Performing Arts.
The successful candidate will provide operational leadership and management for the Music and Performing Arts curriculum area, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and assessment and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement in pursuit of an outstanding student experience.
You will lead and coordinate the curriculum team, supporting staff development and implementing effective performance management processes to achieve consistently high outcomes for learners. Working closely with the Assistant Principal, you will contribute to curriculum planning and development, ensuring that programmes remain responsive to learner needs, sector developments and local and national priorities.
You will have responsibility for driving quality improvement across the curriculum area, using performance data and key performance indicators to identify areas for development and implement effective interventions. You will lead on self-assessment, quality assurance and enhancement activities, supporting improvements in learner achievement, retention, attendance, progression and student satisfaction.
The successful applicant will have experience of curriculum leadership within Further Education, together with a strong understanding of quality assurance, curriculum development and performance management. You will have a proven track record of supporting staff to improve performance and delivering positive outcomes for learners.
You will possess excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, learners and external stakeholders. A commitment to high-quality education, continuous improvement and student success is essential.

Salary range
- £49,286 - £54,566 per year
