
Customer Services Advisor
Join Lancaster City Council as a Customer Services Advisor and play a vital role in supporting our community. You’ll be the friendly first point of contact for our residents over the phone, face to face and via our digital channels. Our contact centre deals with calls ranging from Council Housing tenants, Waste and Recycling, Grants support, Benefits, people who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless and Elections, as well as the Council’s switchboard. Your work will directly impact people’s lives, helping them access the services they need with confidence and ease.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll engage with residents via phone, face-to-face and digital channels, providing clear and accurate information. Working within a busy team at both Morecambe and Lancaster Town Halls, you’ll handle a variety of enquiries always maintaining a professional and helpful approach.

This role is to cover a secondment however there may be an opportunity for it to become permanent.
Salary range
- £25,185 - £27,254 per year
