Salary: £24714 - 29355 Per annum
Basis: Permanent, Full time
Are you looking for a new career opportunity in a fast developing, forward thinking and ambitious organisation?
The successful candidate will be a motivated person that has proven recent experience of working in an administrative role, in a capacity involving direct face to face support to the public and internal teams.
You will be a key member of the busy Homeless Prevention & Homeless Relief Team who work to assist households within the borough to avoid homelessness. At Reigate & Banstead we work in partnership with professionals where we aim to prevent homelessness at the earliest opportunity.
Applicant’s will be approaching for housing advice and assistance, and you will ensure all documents are available to the Homeless Prevention and Relief Teams in a timely and effective manner. You will provide essential administrative support to the wider team.
We are looking for a positive, supportive, flexible and innovative person that can engage well with households experiencing housing need. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload and providing excellent customer service to our residents. You will support our most vulnerable residents at a time of crisis, working with and empowering them to resolve their threat of homelessness.
You will be working with a friendly, supportive, positive and diverse housing team. We will provide you with a wealth of training opportunities.

About the Person
You will be organised and thrive in a fast paced environment. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be an outstanding team player and be able to work on your own initiative. A commitment to providing high standards of customer service, with the skill and discipline to deliver this across a varied workload and to work to deadlines are essential.
The role is based at our modern offices at the Town Hall in Reigate, as well as visiting residents in the borough.
