The Cockpit Theatre also forms part of the Group.

With an annual turnover of over £50m, we are one of the top 20 largest college groups in the UK. We offer education and training in almost all vocational areas at a variety of levels for a wide range of learners of all ages and starting points.

Our mission is to provide all our learners with the very best knowledge and to break down any barriers to learning. We pride ourselves on enabling our learners to meet their individual needs and aspirations and we deliver a learning experience that is unique, enjoyable and rewarding.

    About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Data Compliance Coordinator to support the College in meeting its data protection and compliance responsibilities. Working closely with the Data Compliance Manager and key teams across the organisation, you will help ensure that robust data protection practices are embedded in day‑to‑day operations.

This is a varied and collaborative role, where you will provide practical support on a range of data compliance activities. From managing data protection requests and maintaining accurate records, to supporting audits, policies, and training initiatives, you will play an important part in helping the College meet its obligations under GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

You will act as a key point of contact for staff, offering guidance on data protection queries and promoting best practice across the organisation. The role also involves coordinating Data Subject Access Requests, supporting incident management, and working with colleagues in IT, HR, Legal and other services to ensure data is handled securely.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with detail, building relationships across teams, and contributing to a culture of compliance, accountability and continuous improvement.
