Description

Leicestershire Police are looking for a Dedicated Neighbourhood Team Support Volunteer.

The main purpose of this volunteer role is to support the Dedicated Neighbourhood Teams.

You will be involved in crime prevention initiatives and working with partners to solve locally identified problems. You will also be attending and arranging meetings and providing support at these meetings.

What skills you need:

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills
  • To enjoy talking to people

This is a flexible role and hours (in amount and when) are subject to local agreement.

As a Police Support Volunteer you'll be making a real contribution to the success of the organisation by bringing communities into policing and policing into communities. Using your spare time to do something worthwhile and that really makes a difference.
