Following the promotion of our current Deputy Head to the role of Headteacher the Governors of All Saints Upton C.E. Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Deputy Headteacher with a part time (0.5) class teaching responsibility.

We are seeking a candidate with a substantial teaching background and senior leadership experience. They need the skills, energy, and commitment to promote high expectations and standards and to work with the Headteacher to achieve the best possible progress for all learners. The successful candidate will be responsible for curriculum, assessment and behaviour. They will promote a positive and rich ethos and learning environment and contribute towards the strategic and operational leadership of the school. Applicants must be highly motivated, experienced and willing to lead and support staff.

The closing date for applications is Friday 1st May at 5pm. Shortlisting will be on Tuesday 5th May. Following this, successful candidates will be contacted to arrange a lesson observation in their own setting. If this is not possible, candidates can teach a lesson at All Saints Upton. Interviews will take place across 21st and 22nd of May.
