The Headteacher and Governing Body of St Luke’s CE Primary School, Formby, are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, and outstanding Deputy Headteacher to join our team on 1st January 2026, or sooner by mutual agreement. This is primarily a non-teaching role.
This pivotal role will involve shaping our leadership team alongside our recently appointed Headteacher. Built on a Christian foundation, our visions and values are at the core of everything we do, underpinning our teaching and learning.
We are looking for a strategic and inspirational leader with a proven track record in working with others to lead successful school improvement and drive high standards.
The successful candidate will support the Headteacher in leading teaching and learning throughout the school, to ensure the highest possible quality of education and standards across all phases, for all pupils.
