Following the promotion of the Deputy Headteacher to Headship, the Governing Body is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Deputy Headteacher to join our warm, supportive school community. This is an excellent opportunity for a practising Catholic who is ready to take the next step in their career, even if they are new to senior leadership. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn, and the drive to grow professionally alongside a new Headteacher. The successful candidate will be dedicated, forward-thinking, and eager to contribute to shaping a developing and ambitious Senior Leadership Team. The role also includes a part-time teaching commitment, offering the opportunity to remain closely connected to classroom practice while developing leadership experience.
You will have:
A clear vision and commitment to Catholic education.
Exemplary classroom practice with high expectations of pupils¿ achievement.
A commitment and passion to raise standards for all children.
An interest in and excellent understanding of special educational needs and inclusion.
Excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to lead, motivate and inspire others.
The ability to work effectively with the Headteacher, SLT and Governors to achieve excellence.
Proven leadership skills in core areas of the curriculum.
