We are recruiting a Deputy Manager at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

We pay an attractive salary of £35,412 - £38,220 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Min y Mynydd Residential Home provides long term and short-term accommodation for older people living with a dementia. Min y Mynydd Residential Home is a registered service with Care Inspectorate Wales.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the management team working alongside the Manager of the Home, who has the necessary skills, experience and commitment to manage and provide leadership to the service and to the staff team and to ensure people who live in the Home experiences the highest standard of care and lives a fulfilled, meaningful life.

The Deputy Manager takes responsibility of the Home in the absence of the Registered Team Manager.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • Any qualifications listed by Social Care Wales for registration as an Adult Care Home Manager.
  • Knowledge of Care Inspectorate Wales Regulation Inspection Social Care Act (RISCA).
  • Full UK Category B (Cars) driving license and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough.
  • Full UK Category B (Cars) driving license to drive a Council vehicle
