The award winning Strategic Planning Team is progressing with the development of our Area Action Plans ahead of starting work on our Local Plan Review later this year. This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Team and continue and contribute to making a real difference to the future of Hackney.
We are looking for a qualified town planner, with experience of managing planning policy projects and project teams. You will play a key role supporting and deputising for the Strategic Planning Manager in the leadership of the Strategic Planning Team.
You will have the opportunity to support the leadership of a wide range of projects including: the RTPI award winning Stamford Hill Area Action Plan, the Future Shoreditch Area Action Plan and our Local Plan review which will commence this year, all designed to deliver our strategic vision to ensure that Hackney is a place where everyone has the opportunity to benefit from growth.
You must have a relevant post graduate qualification in Town Planning (or equivalent) which supports membership of, eligibility for the Royal Town Planning Institute and ideally have experience of managing staff.
