The Raise Academy – Design & Technology Teacher

Location: Halton (Widnes)

Salary: M1-M6 £34,069-£46,940

The Raise Academy is a new school which opened in September 2024. The school specialises in supporting pupils aged 11-16.

We have a fantastic opportunity to recruit a passionate and committed Design Technology (DT) Teacher. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering an engaging DT curriculum that inspires creativity, develops practical skills and provides meaningful learning opportunities for our pupils. Working within our specialist SEMH setting, you will build positive relationships with students, create a safe and supportive learning environment, promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation, and contribute to the safeguarding, wellbeing and personal development of all pupils.

Working pattern: Monday–Thursday, 8.30am–4.30pm; Friday, 8.30am–4.00pm, term time.
