Your new role
Due to a maternity leave we are looking to recruit a Teacher of Food Technology, you will join a successful and friendly technology team led by a dedicated Director of Art/Technology. There are two modern food classrooms, supported by a dedicated technician. Food is taught to all students in key stage 3 (maximum class size 15), and GCSE Food and Nutrition is taught to students in Year 10 and Year 11. What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with strong subject knowledge in Food Technology, strong classroom management skills and a passion for the subject. You will have a successful track record of improving the education of pupils and know what excellent education looks like in a classroom. Whether you're in your first year of teaching or your tenth, you will be warmly welcomed and supported here.
