What You’ll Be Doing

You will lead the administration for Section 106 payments associated with the planning permission process, where monies are received from developers to provide for playgrounds, highway improvements and ecological improvements within the district. In addition to this you will play a pivotal part in securing monies under the Building Safety Levy which comes into effect on October 1, 2026, aiming to raise £3.5 billion to fund remediation of historical building defect. You will collaborate with council teams and stakeholders, you’ll maintain accurate records, provide expert advice, and support planning applications. Your role will also involve assisting with budget management and continuously improving processes.


You’ll Fit Right In If…

You have an understanding of planning legislation and the new Building Safety Levy regulations that come into effect later this year, with excellent numerical and analytical skills. Your communication is clear and customer-focused, and you work well with others to achieve shared goals. You manage your workload effectively and hold a full UK driving licence. The role is advertised as full time but part time working arrangements may be considered.
