We are insight-led and results-driven, and our marketing campaigns support strategic objectives using a wide range of channels. We seek to provide high quality media, rebuttal and social media services. Our Internal Communications team supports employee engagement and business transformation.

We are looking for a creative and motivated Digital Content Producer to join our Internal and Digital Communication teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work across high-profile internal and external channels, producing high-quality, newsworthy and engaging content that supports our strategic objectives and enhances the Home Office’s reputation. You’ll have a creative and innovative mindset, with a drive to help shape and improve the Home Office’s digital content.
You will deliver video, photography, events and multimedia content for internal campaigns, social media, and external platforms. Working closely with colleagues in Internal Communications, Digital Strategy and senior leadership, you will help shape compelling stories that inform, inspire and connect with our audiences.

Key responsibilities
- Create engaging content for internal channels and external platforms ensuring it aligns with strategic priorities and audience needs.
- Plan, produce and edit video and photography from events, campaigns and leadership communications, supporting the Home Office ministerial team and Permanent Secretaries.
- Lead multi-camera event setups for hybrid internal events with senior leaders, ensuring high-quality production and seamless delivery.
- Support digital campaigns, ensuring content aligns with Home Office brand and tone.
- Manage and optimise social media content, including senior leadership profiles.
- Work closely with internal teams, frontline staff, and external partners to ensure content aligns with the department’s messaging and objectives.
Working Pattern
Due to the business requirements of this role, it is only available on a full-time basis.
Travel
The post‑holder will be required to travel within the UK for projects, meetings and events.
Person specification
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience producing high‑quality digital content, including video filming, animation and post‑production editing.
- Well, -developed photography skills with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
- Sound understanding of accessibility standards and how to apply them to digital content.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and platforms.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and best‑practice approaches to driving engagement.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience supporting event production, or a demonstrated willingness to develop skills in technical setup, troubleshooting, stakeholder management and logistical coordination.
Desirable criteria:
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects).
- Able to design and deliver strategic, multi‑channel content plans that effectively reach both internal and external audiences.

2. Sift – week commencing 16th February 2026.
The sift will be held on the CV, Personal Statement and Behaviour 'Delivering at Pace'.
The Personal Statement will be scored for all candidates. Those candidates who achieve the minimum pass score for the Personal Statement will progress to a further sift where the Lead Behaviour and CV will be scored. These candidates will receive sift scores for all elements. Candidates who fail to meet the minimum pass score for the Personal Statement will not have their Behaviour or CV scored and will only receive a sift score for the Personal Statement.
3. Interviews – week commencing 9th March 2026.
If you are successful at sift stage, you will be invited to an interview that will be Behaviours and Technical Skills-based questions.

In addition, candidates will be asked to undertake a task at interview stage. The exercise will be assessed against 'Experience' on the 'Success Profiles' and will be assessed against the 'Essential Criteria' as listed in the job advertisement.
