- Supporting the individual to access the community and participate in activities of their choosing.
- Promoting independence and encouraging participation in social and recreational activities.
- Be motivated, proactive and able to work on their own initiative.
- Be patient, caring and understanding.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to build a positive relationship with the individual to encourage and support their participation in activities.
- Have access to their own vehicle to transport the individual to activities. Business insurance is required.
About the recipient
The individual resides in the Hornsea area and requires a dedicated and suitable person to provide support accessing the community once a fortnight. The individual is autistic and has ADHD.
The individual enjoys a range of recreational and social activities and would benefit from support to access these within the community.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Hours
7 hours per fortnight, usually on a Saturday. This may be changed to weekdays during holiday periods.
The days worked are flexible. Two Saturdays can be worked consecutively if required, with the following two Saturdays not worked.
Mileage incurred whilst carrying out duties will be reimbursed.
