We are recruiting Relief Domestic Assistants at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Location: Beatrice Webb Residential Home

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.

We pay an attractive salary of £12.85 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Beatrice Webb Residential Home is seeking to recruit casual Domestic Assistants to work as and when required over a 7 day week which will include weekends and bank holidays. There will be opportunities to work up to 28 hours.

We are looking for the right people who can join our team that promotes a homely, warm atmosphere where we strive to make a positive difference to peoples lives.

You will be required to carry out your duties which can include working in the kitchen, laundry or cleaning in a dignified / respectful manner. Experience of working in a care environment and knowledge of COSHH, Food Safety Act and Health and Safety would be beneficial although not essential.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • Knowledge of principle that underpin quality care, eg dignity, choice, etc.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and take an active part in team working.
  • The ability to work flexibly including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
