Be the force behind Derbyshire’s dynamic response to drug and alcohol harm.
This role offers an excellent opportunity where you’ll take responsibility for Derbyshire’s Drug Test on Arrest (DTOA) process, driving improvements and ensuring an effective, coordinated approach with our partners.
You will act as the crucial point of contact for DTOA, provide expert guidance, deliver targeted training, and make decisions on breaches and next steps.
You’ll support performance monitoring through the DTOA subgroup, strengthen data and reporting, conduct custody‑based inspections, and help embed evidence‑based best practice.
This is a great opportunity to build on your existing experience and play a leading role in shaping our response to drug and alcohol misuse across the county.

- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to deliver outcomes
- Understand the Drug Testing on Arrest (DTOA) process and assessment
- Have a passion for reducing the harm caused by drugs and alcohol, and reducing the crime within Derbyshire
