
Early Years Advisor
Vac Description
We are looking for an Early Years Advisor to help ensure high-quality early years provision in schools and PVI settings for children aged 0–5, including those with SEND. You will work across the borough providing supportive visits, advice, training and network meetings, and contribute to implementing recognised quality assurance approaches to strengthen early education and childcare.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting settings to improve the quality of provision and outcomes at the end of the EYFS, including for
children with SEND
Providing advice, coaching and challenge to promote strong early years practice across Sutton
Planning and delivering high-quality training (including twilight sessions and occasional Saturdays where
required)
Using data to inform the frequency and type of support offered to schools and PVI settings
Promoting inclusive practice and helping narrow gaps for disadvantaged and vulnerable groups
Supporting effective safeguarding practice, including sharing updates through training and networks
Important Note:
The deadline for receipt is 12.00 pm, Thursday 7th May 2026. Candidates are requested to be available for a 30-minute Teams interview on 14th May, and if successful at this stage, an interview with a task on Monday 18th May.

Salary range
- £40,996.66 - £55,387.57 per year
