Your next role

The Early Years and Childcare team provide support for Early Years (EY) providers across Swindon with funding, training, SEND and developing high quality EY education and care. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a very highly regarded team.

The Early Years and Childcare team are offering a permanent Early Years Business Support Officer opportunity, 37 hours per week, term time only.

The successful applicant will hold a L3 qualification in Business and Admin and will have the opportunity to continue learning learn alongside our incredibly experienced and highly effective team. This opportunity would suit a candidate who has recently achieved their L3 and wishes to continue to learn and develop their skills.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate equally effectively with parents, providers and colleagues. You will recognise the value of a team approach to meeting challenges and have the ability to follow instructions as well as work using your own initiative. In addition, you will need to be flexible and the ability to interact positively are essential, in an environment which can change rapidly and in which no two days are ever the same!

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).

The team operates a hybrid working model with all expected to be in the office for a minimum of two days per week.
