Job Title: Early Years Educator (Term Time)

Location: Brick by Brick Preschool Limited. Beckenham, BR3 3RD

Hours:

Monday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Tuesday 8:30am – 4:30pm

Wednesday 8:30am – 4:30pm

Thursday 8:30am – 1:00pm

Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm

Salary: Starting at £13.00 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our friendly team. You will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 2–5 years, supporting their learning and development through play and meaningful experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
• Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities based on children's interests and developmental needs.
• Promote children's wellbeing, independence, and confidence.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and the pre-school’s policies at all times.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant).
• Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.

Desirable

• Experience working in a preschool or nursery setting.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
