Post Title: Early Years Foundation Stage Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Hours/Weeks: 28.75 Hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time +5 days)
Salary: NJC SCP 12-17, £27,711-£30,060FTE (Actual Salary £19,119-20,740)
START DATE: 1 September 2025
Responsible To: Head Teacher / SLT
Duration: Permanent
The Governors are seeking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work as part of our Nursery Team.
Candidates should:
- Be enthusiastic about working with Early Years Foundation Stage children
- Establish good working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
- Promote self-esteem and independence, employing strategies to recognise and reward achievement within established school procedure
- Monitor and evaluate pupils' responses to learning activities through observation and planned recording of achievement against pre-determined learning object
- Contribute to the school ethos, aims and development/improvement plan.

Salary range
- £27,711 - £30,060 per year
