The Post We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person to join our Electoral Services team. The successful candidate will play a part in the preparation for, and conduct of, all elections and referendums. You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the electoral register. Brent is a large borough with approximately 235,000 registered electors and 130 polling stations. In 2024 we delivered very successful London Mayoral and parliamentary general elections, with staff demonstrating high levels of commitment, strong technical skills and collaboration. We offer a blend of remote and office based working. This is a politically restricted post. The Person To join the team you will need;
- Experience of working in an office environment, including data entry or administration
- Experience of working as part of a team
- To demonstrate the ability to work with specialist software systems with excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of election and electoral law
- An understanding of the electoral process
- The willingness to work outside standard working hours during election and registration canvass periods

AEA Certificate in Electoral Administration or willingness to undertake the training
