Public Protection Partnership PPP is a shared environmental heath, licensing and trading standards service for Bracknell Forest and West Berkshire Councils.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives through better housing? Join our dynamic and forward-thinking Environmental Health Housing team, where your work will directly to support healthier, safer homes across our communities.

We are looking for an Environmental Health Housing Officer to help drive improvements in the rented sector, HMOs and caravan sites. You will be at the forefront of inspections, enforcement and reactive work - ensuring housing standards are upheld and residents are protected.

What We’re Looking For

• A customer-focused professional with strong interpersonal skills
• Solid working knowledge of the Housing Act and related legislation
• Understanding of building construction and housing conditions
• Confidence using ICT tools including Microsoft Office, Teams and case management systems

We may offer a traineeship for the right person. We will also accept applications from recent Environmental Health graduates who haven’t yet completed their training portfolios.
