Make a Difference in LancasterJoin Lancaster City Council as an Estate Steward and play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing council-owned homes. What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll carry out painting, cleaning, and various maintenance tasks across the district, working both independently and as part of a team. Managing stock levels, following health and safety protocols, and using electronic systems to track your work will be part of your daily routine. You’ll collaborate with in-house teams and contractors to deliver high-quality service, meeting deadlines and providing a professional, courteous experience for tenants and colleagues alike.
You’ll Fit Right In If…You have a good understanding of building trades and a willingness to learn and take ownership of your work. You’re confident making decisions and thrive working both independently and collaboratively. Holding a full driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential.
