Make a Difference in LancasterJoin Lancaster City Council as an Estate Steward and play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing council-owned homes. Your work will ensure properties meet lettable standards, creating safe, welcoming environments that support the wellbeing and safety of our community.
What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll carry out painting, cleaning, and various maintenance tasks across the district, working both independently and as part of a team. Managing stock levels, following health and safety protocols, and using electronic systems to track your work will be part of your daily routine. You’ll collaborate with in-house teams and contractors to deliver high-quality service, meeting deadlines and providing a professional, courteous experience for tenants and colleagues alike.
You’ll Fit Right In If…You have a good understanding of building trades and a willingness to learn and take ownership of your work. You’re confident making decisions and thrive working both independently and collaboratively. Holding a full driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential.
