About Us

Fairplay Outdoor Education Centre is owned and funded by the London Borough of Newham and offers a wide range of land and water based activities for schools, businesses, youth groups and clubs. Fairplay House is situated in a spectacular and inspiring 12-acre natural location less than an hour’s drive from London (45 minutes direct train from London Liverpool Street) and offers a large range of tailored, flexible Outdoor Education Programmes. The house has residential facilities for up to 79 pupils and 8 staff.

Fairplay Outdoor Education Centre is the London Borough of Newham’s Outdoor Education Centre based near Witham in Essex. We are currently looking for an Estates Manager to support the team.

You will be responsible for the site; its grounds and buildings to ensure they are safe, secure, compliant and maintained to the highest standard expected by our guests.

You will have experience of caretaking, site management and record keeping. You will lead on all aspects of maintenance and compliance.

This position reports to the Head of Centre.
