    This post offers an excellent opportunity for a property professional who is interested to further develop their skills in property project management.

    The post holder will contribute to the delivery of the Council's property programmes, which underpin a significant number of property acquisitions in Brent and other areas, to support the Council’s housing and regeneration priorities.

    You will be involved in large-scale programmes that deliver property and housing solutions for residents.

    You will contribute to the delivery of key acquisition initiatives including, Investment for Brent (i4B), Local Authority Housing Fund (LAHF Round 3 & 4) and Council Homes Acquisition Programmes (CHAP).

    The Person

    You will have experience inspecting properties and a solid understanding of property standards, design, and construction, as well as a good grasp of the property buying and conveyancing process. You will demonstrate sound judgement and a methodical, thorough approach, with strong attention to detail.

    Self‑motivation and excellent organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, set priorities, and work accurately while maintaining confidentiality. You will also be an effective communicator with strong negotiation skills, and a team player who can work collaboratively with Property Acquisition Officers and Estate Surveyors.

    Strong written skills are also required, including report writing, market data analysis, and presenting information clearly and methodically. A proactive attitude toward all property‑related matters is essential to success in this role.

    Qualifications

    Aspiring to become a property professional - AssocRICS or MRICS (desirable).

    Full clean driving licence
