Exams and Reception Administration Assistant
Contract Hours: 37 hours per week / 39 weeks per year
Salary: Scale 3, Point 5-6 (FTE: £28,521 - £28,929 / Actual £25,072 - £25,431 per annum)
Contract Term: Permanent, Part Time
Start Date: September 2025
The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Exams and Reception Administration Assistant. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the efficient and compliant administration of internal and external examinations. This position is essential to ensuring that all pupils, including those with additional needs, experience a smooth, fair, and well-organised examination process that reflects the school’s commitment to high standards, equity, and opportunity. Working alongside the Examinations Officer, the Exams Assistant will contribute to upholding St Edward’s Academy’s vision of fostering a positive and inclusive learning community, where all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential. The role demands flexibility, reliability, and a detail-oriented approach within our busy school.
The postholder will also support the Reception staff, providing a professional and effective school front office service to all stakeholders. This will involve working on reception one day a week, and other occasions as and when required. This will involve answering phone calls, using Inventry for visitors coming in and out of the building, and using our Arbor MIS system.
