Class Teacher Full Time Permanent position depending on passing 6-month probationary period.

Start Date: September 2026 Scale: Main Scale/Upper Pay Scale

Springwell Park Primary school is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, nurturing and highly motivated Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join our dedicated team.

The successful applicant will;

  • Have a secure understanding of the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage and child development
  • Create quality leaning environments both inside and outside the classroom
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Create a language-rich, play-based environment that promotes curiosity and independence
  • Support children’s development across all areas, including communication, personal development and early literacy and maths
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers
  • Use assessment effectively to support progress and next steps
  • Contribute to a caring, collaborative and ambitious team
  • Be passionate about early learning through play and exploration
  • Have high expectations for all children, including those with SEND and EAL
  • Be reflective, motivated and committed to continual professional development
