EYFS Reception Teacher

The |governors of Newton Solney C of E (VA) Infant School are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and inspiring Early Years Foundation Stage teacher to join our wonderful, small, village school.

Newton Solney Infant School is a key part of the community in the village of Newton Solney and its surrounding areas. We welcome children and families from all surrounding towns and villages, often from beyond our catchment area. We are proud to be a Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Infant School with strong links to our local parish church. The school benefits from a magical Forest School area where all pupils benefit from a weekly Forest School session.

We are looking for a full time Reception Class Teacher who:

• Has a passion for helping every pupil to achieve their full potential and to ‘fly high’, both academically and socially.
• Is an excellent Early Years teacher with experience across the Infant age range.
• Is able to plan high quality learning experiences across the EYFS areas of learning, building strong foundations in early communication, literacy and mathematics.
• Understands the value of Outdoor Education and enabling children to access the wonders of the natural world.
• Has high expectations of behaviour and achievement for all pupils, including those with SEND.
• Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Supports the Christian nature of our wonderful school.
• Is committed to playing a full part in the wider life of a small village school.
