EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Could you help shape the early learning experiences of our youngest children?

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our Early Years team at Kingsway Primary Academy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced team in a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.

Salary and Vacancy Information

Salary: £27,274 per annum, pro rata, term time only Grade 4 SCP 7

Location: Kingsway Primary Academy

Contract: Fixed Term

Start Date: December 2026

About the Role

• Support children's learning through engaging play-based activities.
• Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing Early Years environment.
• Work with individuals and small groups to develop communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Promote children's social, emotional and physical development.
• Support children with SEND and additional needs.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Holds a Level 2 or equivalent Teaching Assistant/Early Years qualification.
• Has experience working with young children in an EYFS or school setting.
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Is passionate about supporting children's development and wellbeing.
• Is caring, patient, flexible and committed to inclusive education.
