Teaching Assistant Position – based in EYFSRequired for Immediate Start

Based at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Goldthorpe, on a Federation Contract

Contract type: Permanent - Working 31.25 hours per week, term time only + 2 Inset Days, focus to be supporting children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities, as well as supporting generally in classes across whole school. Salary: Grade 3 £26,427 to £26,847 (actual salary - £19,122 to £19,426)

The Governing Body of Corpus Christi Federation wishes to appoint an excellent practitioner to join our dedicated team. We need an outstanding TA who will be responsible for supporting teaching to deliver high quality learning activities for our amazing EYFS unit based at Sacred Heart School. The unit hosts 3+4-year-old Nursery children and Reception age children. The role will include supporting activities and provision, as agreed with teachers to monitor, assess, record and report on children’s achievement, progress and development. A level 3 EYFS qualification is a necessity for this position to ensure correct ratios are achieved.

We require an adaptable, experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated TA, ideally with EYFS experience, who has good literacy and numeracy skills to help in the development of our children and our EYFS unit. Good communication skills are essential for this post, as is a willingness to work flexibly, alongside a range of children and adults. We are currently in the process of joining the St Francis CMAT – depending on the date of appointment will determine the employer for this position.
