Job Title: Family Hubs Relief Facilitator
Salary: £29,253 - £32,736 per annum pro rata to hours worked as part time
Grade: C
Permanent Contract
Part-time 22 Hours per Week
We are seeking a committed individual to join the Family Hubs to provide high quality universal and targeted sessions for families with children of all ages from 0-11 (up to 25 if SEND). To create a warm welcoming and friendly environment that will encourage families to use the Family Hubs and to provide information services in the 0-19 (up to 25 if SEND) wellbeing model. To plan, evaluate and implement services according to the need of the families. To engage parents/carers in their children’s learning and support them to access the whole range of Family Hub services. The post holder will be required to work across all three localities.
Key Experience and Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both young children and their parents/carers.
- Ability to work and liaise with a variety of agencies.
- Ability to work with members of the local community.
- Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate a range of services for families and their children.
- Good organisational skills.
- Computer literate.
- A valid full UK driving licence and use of a car to travel across the borough.
Qualifications essential to the role
- Child Care qualification equal to NVQ Level 3.
DBS Check: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with Children's Barred List is required for this post.
