Location: Littleover Community School, Derby
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm
(including a half an hour unpaid lunch each day)
Contract type: Permanent, 39 weeks a year, Term-Time, including Inset days

Many thanks for your interest in the Family Support Worker and Safeguarding Coordinator position at Littleover Community School. We are seeking a compassionate, proactive and dedicated individual to join our safeguarding team and play a key role in supporting the wellbeing, safety and success of our students. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children, families and external agencies, helping to remove barriers to learning, improve attendance and wellbeing, and ensure that vulnerable students receive the support they need to thrive. Working alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will contribute to safeguarding and child protection processes, coordinate Early Help support, and provide practical guidance to students and families.
