Working Location: Agile, Northwest Regional Developments

Persona Agile/Site based

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours Mon-Fri

  • The post delivers multi-trade repairs and maintenance to new homes housing developments, providing excellent customer service to our residents at all times.
  • This role is essential to maintain high-quality homes and ensure our residents receive timely, efficient repairs and a consistently positive customer experience.
  • This role reports to the Customer Care Manager in the Delivery area of the Customer & Quality Directorate within Property & Investment.

Your impact in the role:

  • To carry out general maintenance and repairs to new build properties including associated carpentry, preparation, making good, and other types of internal and external works as instructed by the Customer Care Manager
  • To maintain appropriate and accurate records of time, duration and scope of works undertaken, together with materials and time utilised on each project
  • To ensure that all works are undertaken in a safe manner, in accordance with good practice and current legislation.
  • Obtain necessary materials and plan as required to ensure effective completion of the works, minimising waste and surplus materials wherever possible.
  • To carry out works in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring that the reputation and standing of L&Q is positively promoted in all dealings.
  • To provide a customer focused service at all times
  • To undertake any other related tasks that are reasonably requested by the Customer Care Manager
  • Observe and comply with the company policies and procedures for Health and Safety.
  • Adhere to KPIs set for the Customer care Team,

What you'll bring:

  • Specialist knowledge and experience of at least one specialist trade i.e. carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plastering painting & decorating - Essential
  • Knowledge of building & construction or housing repairs & maintenance and of job-related Health & Safety – Essential
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team – Essential
  • Good written and oral communication skills – Essential
  • Full driving licence – Essential
  • Previous experience in a similar type of role - Essential
