Our Team:

We currently have two opportunities for a Fitness Advisor to join our team. One role will be based at our Brookvale Leisure Centre and the other at our Halton Leisure Centre.

The roles will report into the Facility Manager for that site and will provide a friendly, engaging and educational service to new and existing customers.

More specific responsibilities include:

• Respond to customer enquiries and process new and existing customer memberships, expanding the customer base.
• Arrange visits and complete gym/fitness suite inductions and programmes.
• Deliver Personal Training, Small Group Training sessions, Group Workout classes and specialist classes.
• Ensure that all classes/training are undertaken with full regard to relevant health and safety procedures and that all customer administration is complete.

Hours:

Brookvale Leisure Centre Fitness Advisor - 34.5 hours based over a rolling 2 weekly rota.

Halton Leisure Centre Fitness Advisor – 21 hours. Monday 14.00 – 19.00, Tuesday 16.30 – 20.30, Friday 15.00 – 20.00, Sunday 8.00 – 15.30

Your Contributions:

It is essential that the post holder holds a Fitness NVQ Level 3 and Personal Trainer NVQ Level 2.

A qualification in Spin Instruction and Aquafit Instruction is desirable. There is an opportunity to gain these qualifications whilst in role if you don’t already hold them.

In addition you will have:

• Experience of delivering Group Workout Classes
• Experience within a leisure facility
• Previous experience of working with the public
• Demonstrate a knowledge of good customer care and of the sales process
• Ability to work under pressure and make appropriate decisions
• Choreograph, deliver and adapt classes to meet different ability levels, demonstrating a positive motivated attitude
