We are recruiting Relief Fitness Instructors at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Contract Type: Casual/Relief
Location: Various Locations across the borough

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.

We pay an attractive salary of £13.26 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are looking for motivated and reliable Relief Fitness Instructors to deliver high-quality group exercise classes and gym support across our leisure centres.

The postholder will step in to cover staff absence, sickness, holidays, and peak times helping us maintain a consistent, high-standard service for our members.

This flexible role is ideal for instructors who want varied hours in a supportive team environment. You must hold a recognised fitness qualification, be confident leading sessions, and able to adapt to different sites and client needs.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • An NVQ Instructing Exercise and Fitness Level 2 or Fitness Wales Fitness Certificate or ORC Certificate Stage 2.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours including weekends, additional hours and differing shift patterns.
  • The willingness to undertake a training programme or have an understanding of the training and be prepared to undertake the training if required.
