
Fleet and Logistics Support Officer
Job Description
Salary: £33,351 - £38,052 per annum
Grade: D
Permanent Contract
37 Hours per Week
This opportunity has arisen within the Fleet and Logistics Team to provide quality compliance and support with regards to the Council's transport operations and Operators licence terms and conditions.
Key accountabilities and Skills:
- Fleet and Logistics Business unit
- To develop, maintain and manage software systems within the Fleet Management section: ensuring, compliance, implementation, monitoring and control of the vehicle documentation with regard to the council's operator's licence.
- Able to interpret data and produce statistical reports
- Able to calculate payments, including VAT elements and reconcile amounts with invoices
- Able to write straightforward factual reports
- Able to deal with a wide range of people face-to-face or over the telephone in a courteous, helpful and professional manner
- Able to prioritise conflicting workload demands and meet targets and deadlines
- Able to work and use own initiative within defined procedures.
- Working knowledge of Road Transport law
