Description

Driving forensic standards, accreditation, and specialist collision investigation.

You’ll provide technical leadership in accredited forensic road collision investigations. Ensuring ongoing compliance, delivery of high-quality forensic analysis at serious and fatal collisions.

You will lead specialist forensic examination at collision scenes using bespoke equipment and processes and set investigative standards through high‑quality reporting and expert support to police enquiries.

*Please note, this role is part time 18.5hrs per week as part of a job share.

What you’ll be doing

  • Work as the Technical Manager in line with the relevant ISO standards, providing technical oversight of FCI.
  • Support training mentoring and competency processes for all staff within FCI
  • Take the lead with technical investigations to assess risk, identifying root causes

The must haves

  • Qualified as a Forensic Collision Investigator
  • Extensive experience and competency in Forensic Collision Investigation
  • Able to work within a team, excellent communication skills and able to manage confrontational situations
