What will you be doing?
Role Specific Responsibilities
•Coordinate delivery of compliance servicing and maintenance programmes to ensure every appliance is serviced ahead of its expiry date, and residents receive an excellent repairs service. Predominately this will relate to gas, oil-heating, carbon monoxide (CO) detection, renewable energy services and water hygiene but responsibilities may extend to all areas of compliance.
•Lead on work to service equipment in difficult-to-access properties, collaborating with Neighbourhood Teams, Tenancy Sustainment Teams, solicitors, and other third-party agencies. Be responsible for all case management activities in bringing claims to court and all follow up actions.
•Promote high standards of resident care via compliance work, ensuring that contact with residents is maximised as opportunities to identify vulnerability and/or property conditions.
•Compile and report on data relating to all areas of compliance to support the KPI reporting process, including regular system reconciliations. Predominately this will be gas, oil-heating, carbon monoxide (CO) detection, renewable energy services and water hygiene but responsibilities may extend to all areas of compliance.
•Support the internal audit process, compiling information and documentation for scrutiny and assist in responding to individual requests for information.
•Lead on the work to maintain the gas-capping register, including liaison between other staff, departments and organisations to identify vulnerable residents and ensure that they are not left without essential utilities.
•Continuously identify improvement opportunities in the carrying out of compliance and maintenance programmes.
•Take ownership of all complaints relating to compliance services from any source (i.e. resident, MP, local councillor, 3rd party agencies etc) and work to conclude these within policy and publicised timeframes.
•Support the ‘lessons learned’ process by recording outcomes from complaints accurately, ensuring any relevant changes are reflected in day-to-day activities.
•Provide administrative support to monthly operational contractor meetings including ensuring all follow up actions are progressed ahead of the next meeting.
•Support the Building Safety & Compliance Team Leader (Administration) in ensuring records relating to compliance and building safety are accurate and up to date.
•Actively participate in the development and promotion of a safety culture through day-to-day activities and language.
•Support the production of publicity information to promote safety through a diverse range of media.
•Understand changes in legislation and working practices, ensuring that procedures accurately reflect these.
•Provide general administrative support, raising orders, processing payments and resolving associated queries.
