The opportunity
As Head of Economic Growth, you will lead the design and delivery of a bold, place-based economic strategy-translating the Mayor’s vision into investable, impactful programmes.
You will:
- Lead the region’s economic growth agenda, driving investment, trade and sector development
- Shape and deliver major funding programmes (including Local Growth Fund and successor programmes) with robust governance and measurable impact
- Develop and execute an ambitious Investment & Trade Strategy, building a strong pipeline of opportunities and positioning Greater Lincolnshire on the national and global stage
- Unlock public and private investment, working at the interface of government, business and investors
- Provide trusted strategic advice to the Mayor and senior leadership on growth, policy and emerging opportunities
- Champion key sectors and rural growth, ensuring inclusive, sustainable economic outcomes
- Lead a high-performing team and build strong partnerships across local, national and international stakeholders

- Strong experience securing funding and developing business cases

- A track record of leading teams and delivering results at pace

Location and travel
The role will be based on-site in Lincoln, with frequent travel across Greater Lincolnshire and to partner locations.
