Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the dedicated point of contact for external GovPass users and clients, communicating their needs back to the internal team.
  • Define, implement and evaluate a stakeholder engagement plan to ensure stakeholders are informed, engaged and enthused about the GovPass Service.
  • Establish and build relationships with existing and new clients across different government departments, helping to build acceptance and support for GovPass change initiatives.
  • Encourage adoption of GovPass at sites, working with users and local teams to maximise user benefits.
  • Communicate and advocate GovPass feedback and recommendations from clients and users, acting as the customer voice to the internal team.
  • Ensure user satisfaction is maintained and tracked accurately as GovPass continues to be rolled out.
  • Collaborate closely with internal GPA teams to ensure proposed changes are developed simultaneously and communicated throughout.

Person specification

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager (Business Relationship Manager) who has:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working professionally when dealing with clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident and comfortable in translating technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast paced and evolving environment
  • The drive and focused to deliver within the public sector with an emphasis on value for money
  • Collaborative and inclusive ways of working and can build trust across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proactive in championing client adoption, managing and guiding stakeholders through the delivery and improvement of the service.

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Proven experience within a customer relationship role and / or business change role
  • Experience working with a range of people in cross-functional teams to support change programmes
  • Demonstrable experience in stakeholder engagement and managing stakeholder expectations throughout projects
  • Ability to work across the programme lifecycle; working with the right people at the right time to navigate the project lifecycle and deliver value including using evidence to continue, change direction or stop work

Qualifications and Accreditations

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience working with CRM tooling, Salesforce
  • Experience working within Government services
  • Formal project management qualification (eg Prince2, APMG)
