
Group Manager (P and P)
Adult Social Care and Health is seeking to recruit a permanent, full time group manager for the Chesterfield locality.
The successful candidate will take a senior leadership role for the Chesterfield area for the delivery of social work and direct care, with responsibility for two locality based long term social work teams, the Chesterfield Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team and the Chesterfield duty team.
The postholder will work in a busy, dynamic geographical area, working with colleagues to deliver high quality, personalised social work support and assessment and reablement to local people, and their communities, that maximises people’s independence and wellbeing. They will lead on meeting the statutory duties outlined in the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation for the Chesterfield locality contributing to meeting the objectives of the Council Plan alongside departmental delivery plans, including the requirement to ensure that services are strengths based, focussed on people’s outcomes and cost-effective.
