    Are you passionate about data-driven decision-making and eager to drive efficiency through insightful reporting and analysis? The London Borough of Enfield is looking for a dynamic and innovative Head of Business Insight & Performance Reporting to join our Revenues & Transactional Services Directorate. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our services and make a real impact.
    About the Role:
    As the Head of Business Insight & Performance Reporting, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to enhance service efficiency and foster a culture of data literacy. You will be responsible for presenting key management information in an accessible format and developing Power BI capabilities within the team. Your commitment to continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making will be crucial in driving performance across the Revenues & Transactional Services Directorate.
    The services & teams within Revenues & Transactional Services Directorate are as follows;

    - Revenues Division: Council Tax Service, Business Rates (NNDR) Service & Housing Benefits Overpayments Team
    - ASC Financial Transactions Service: Financial Assessments for Adults Social Care (ASC), ASC Income Collection Service, Welfare & Debt Support Service, Deputyship & Appointeeship Service, & Council Tax Hardship Support Team
    - Non-ASC Financial Transactions Service: Housing Benefit & Council Tax Support Service, Discretionary Housing Payment Team, Subsidy Team

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Utilize Power BI to create and present key management information through dashboards and other easily understandable formats.
    - Develop Power BI capabilities among the existing workforce in the Business Insight Team.
    - Create a culture of data-driven decision-making across the senior leadership of the division.
    - Equip senior leaders with the skills to run, extract, and interpret their service metrics.
    - Produce metrics on collection efficiency and identify opportunities to automate the production of service metrics.
    - Understand the services within the Revenues & Transactional Services Directorate to ensure relevant and accurate metric production.

    What We're Looking For:

    - Proficiency in the use of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
    - Ability to present complex data in an easily understandable format.
    - Experience in developing and implementing data-driven strategies.
    - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and deploy interventions or strategies based on data.
    - Knowledge and understanding of service areas within the Revenues & Transactional Services Directorate.
    - Excellent communication and training skills to develop Power BI capability among team members.

    Desirable Attributes:

    - Experience in local government or public sector, particularly in an income collection and financial transactions environment.
    - Proven track record in performance reporting and business insight.
    - Familiarity with automating the production of service metrics for services within the Revenues & Transactional Services Directorate.
